DML’s CEO gave a talk about Falls Prevention and how to use GaitSmart to improve patient outcomes.
It was so good to be invited to give a talk and exhibit at the ‘Falls Prevention and Management Workshop and Technology Exhibition organised by Ursula Abiodun at the London North West Healthcare NHS Trust.
Hearing about the technologies and processes have been developed to help reduce the risk of falls in hospital at at home, from smart lighting to safer beds demonstrated that a wide range of technological innovations are needed to address all aspects.
GaitSmart adds to this by providing an objective view of patients’ mobility issues, and personalised exercises that the patients can do on their own.
